Ali Fazal has been on a roll. The fact remains that if you are talented, you will never have a dearth of opportunities. Ali has impressed the audience and critics with his presence in various roles that he has taken up. And we aren’t just talking about Indian cinema here, but Hollywood as well where he has been a part of some of the biggest banners in the past.
The international audience has been very appreciative of his titular role in Victoria and Abdul. He has also bagged one of the leading roles in Kenneth Brannagh’s upcoming film titled Death On The Nile, and as per reports coming in, is all set to star alongside Gerard Butler in Ric Roman Waugh’s directorial action thriller Kandahar.
The film is based on the screenplay Waugh jointly put into place with a former military intelligence officer Mitchell LaFortune. The story of Kandahar is based on LaFortune’s experiences at the DIA- Defense Intelligence Agency based in Afghanistan. The film is expected to begin shooting in Saudi Arabia very soon. Ali Fazal’s forthcoming release, Death On The Nile, which also stars Gal Gadot is all set to release in February 2022.
