Anubhav Sinha will soon begin shooting his fifth film in Lucknow. The yet-to-be-titled film will go on floors by this year-end. Since the time he directed Mulk in the state capital, Sinha has already shot movies like Abhi To Party Shuru Hui Hai, Article-17, and Thappad in the city. Although he has not revealed much about the movie, the ace director said that he will be shooting his next in Lucknow in November-December. Everything else about the film, like its title, the cast, etc., will be shared soon. However, as far as the subject is concerned, he will let the film do the talking. As per Sinha, his 2.0 avatar is based on common issues today that still exist in society, such as caste divide, secularism, patriarchy, and the films he is writing and making come straight from his heart. He added that he is not shooting his favorite slow-motion scenes or some love songs shot abroad but instead enjoying his current pattern of working. In the unlocking phase of the pandemic, Anubhav Sinha wrote two scripts, out of which Anek, a film starring Ayushmann Khurrana, has already been shot in the North-East and the other one is this untitled for which he is currently in Lucknow.
