India is Fighting Corona and every section of society is making contributions in the fight against Corona pandemic.
Food, shelter, water, medicine, grain, vegetables, money people are contributing for the fight.
The Film Industry of India has come out with a very humane contribution for the Maharashtra police specially women police on duty.
Bollywood has provided The Vanity Vans used by Bollywood stars for outdoor shooting. They will now be used by women police, this initiative is named “Mission Suraksha” these vanity vans will be provided as many as 22 locations.
Under the “Mission Suraksha” the Producers Guild of India will donate fully-equipped tents and vanity vans to the police force, particularly female cops as they battle it out to protect the city from the dreaded COVID-19 pandemic.
In a press release the Producers Guild stated “We are delighted to launch ‘Mission Suraksha’ to protect our caretakers, especially women cops on bandobast duty. Fully equipped tents and vanity vans used by film stars have been provided across 22 key locations as restrooms for break time”
The Producers Guild of India, along with Indian Film and Television Producers Council and Federation of Western India Cine Employees, recently came together to support the most impacted daily wage workers through direct bank transfers.
Ketan Rawal one of the leading suppliers of vanity has provided many vanity vans to the police amid the lockdown.
Talking to press Ketan Rawal said “The work done by corona warriors has no boundaries. For him, providing vanity van to these warriors is a small way of expressing his gratitude towards them.”
The police personnel, said “the vanity van is very useful for them. It has solved some of the problems they were facing on a daily basis specially for women cops.”
