There is one name from the film industry that has stood out overwhelmingly when it comes to helping people in need during the pandemic. That’s Sonu Sood. The actor has been at the forefront in the battle against coronavirus and has genuinely found out extensive ways to meet people’s demands. From arranging beds to installing oxygen plants, from providing ample resources to assist the movement of people to even overseeing the arrangement of air ambulances, Sood has done it all. Now a letter written by the Commanding Officer of an Infantry Batallion stationed at Jaisalmer has gone viral on social media. The CO has requested Sood to procure equipment for the COVID-19 facility, however, this hasn’t gone down too well with the senior Army brass. The letter dated May 13 mentions that the Army is setting up a 200 bed COVID care center at Jaisalmer Military Station. The CO has highlighted certain requirements such as oxygen cylinders, concentrators, ICU beds, an X-ray Machine, and 15-KV generator sets. A senior Army officer from the Army HQ, New Delhi has confirmed that the letter was meant for Sonu Sood, and it apparently was written in over-enthusiasm.
