Not so long ago, the news of Amitabh Bachchan and Boman Irani being cast together for a Sooraj Barjatya film had taken the center stage. The title of the movie has now been revealed as Oonchai. The movie was supposed to go on floors from February this year, but the latest reports suggest that the start of its shoot has been deferred to September. It is going to be Barjatya’s seventh directorial and will be about celebrating human relationships which are mostly the core of any of his movies, only this time around it will be more about the bonding of senior citizens. Anupam Kher too has joined the star cast, however, the details of his character are unknown. Considering the backdrop of the movie, reports suggest that it may be a tale of three to four friends, Anupam being one of them. Oonchai will be released somewhere around 2022 and is currently in the pre-production stage.
