Kartik Aaryan Would Have Left Shehzada If Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo Had Been Released In Hindi, Says The Producer - Daily Bollywood News

Well, it seems it was Kartik Aaryan who threatened to walk out of Shehzada had the Hindi dubbed version of its original film, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, been released in theatres. This has been confirmed by none other than Manish Shah himself, who took the Hindi dubbed version rights of the Telugu blockbuster.

Speaking to one of the entertainment portals, Manish said that the Shehzada makers were not keen on releasing the Hindi version across theatres and even Kartik, whom Manish refereed to as unprofessional, had made his intentions clear of leaving the film had the dubbed version of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo released. This would have caused a loss of Rs. 40 crores to the filmmakers of Shehzada.

He added that he had been well acquainted with the Shehzada producers for a decade and he couldn’t have seen people close to him losing such a large sum. Therefore, he dropped his plans for the Hindi dubbed versions’ release, thereby losing Rs. 20 crores.

He further said that he wanted Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’s Hindi version to be bigger than Pushpa: The Rise and that if he doesn’t release the film, he will end up losing loads of money, and hence it will be released on his channel. Meanwhile, Shehzada, starring Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon, is scheduled for release on November 4 this year.
