A Dubai-based financier, a few days back, had alleged conspiracy, conniving to siphon funds and cheating against Vibri Media, one of the producers of 83. A spokesperson of Vibri Media has now issued a clarification and denied the claims of the complaint that has been registered in a Mumbai court.
It said that Vibri Media would like to deny the claims made by the complainant, and the makers are in no way concerned with the case. The statement added that the complaint made by Future Resources FZE against 83 producers is false, motivated, and baseless. It further clarified that FZE happens to be a minor shareholder in Vibri Media, and there have been internal disputes between the two which are pending in various courts.
FZE, the complainant, has already been restricted by the Honourable Court of Telangana not to interfere with 83 in any manner, and that the action of the complainant right before the film’s release seems to be motivated and nothing more than a publicity gimmick and also constitutes contempt of court for which Vibri Media is looking to avail legal remedies. The producers of the film are in no way concerned with this entire publicity gimmick, and they do reserve the right to initiate action against Future Resources FZE.
