This indeed comes as a piece of wonderful news for all the producers, theatre owners as well as fans. The Delhi administration has decided to reopen all the theatres from Monday. The theatres will currently stand open with 50% capacity. As soon as the announcement was made, there was jubilation among the movie exhibitors who had been waiting patiently for all these past few months to hear this much-awaited step. One of the distributors from Maharashtra feels that since the Delhi Government has decided to reopen cinemas with 50%, Maharashtra, which is known to be the home of the film industry, will follow suit, and therefore will allow the theatrical exhibition of films across India. With the long-awaited news of Delhi reopening its theatres, it may happen that Maharashtra also will start reopening them in the first week of August.
