Shilpa Shetty Kundra recorded her statement with the Mumbai Police on Friday. The police also conducted a raid at her & husband Raj Kundra’s lavish Juhu bungalow. Raj Kundra, who is in Police custody till July 27, has got support from his wife Shilpa, who has said in her statement to the Police that he is not involved in producing any pornographic content. According to her, the films available on the Hotshot app are not pornography but erotica and has cited examples from OTT platforms that have more obscene content. She has further added that it is Pradeep Bakshi, her brother-in-law, and owner of Kernin Productions, who has been involved in the app. Shilpa has come under the scanner of the authorities as she resigned from her position in Viaan Industries, which handled the operations of porn production and distribution. The authorities are trying to pry out if Shilpa had benefitted in any way from the money generated from the app.
