Due to a series of lockdowns looming over the entire nation, the decision to release Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much-awaited directorial Gangubai Kathiawadi on July 30 looks to be taking a back seat. With the current situation, it wouldn’t be wise to go ahead with a theatrical release of this Alia Bhatt starrer. A source close to the project says that it is not the lucrative offers from OTT platforms that are luring Bhansali, but the way the current situation is going and hence the director might give in to it as very soon there may not be any options left for him.
