The ongoing International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2012 in Goa has been seeing plenty of action since the festival commenced on 20th November. With nearly 13,000 registered delegates and more turning up every day (on the basis of spot tickets) to catch the best of world and Asian cinema, the 43rd IFFI 2012 has surely reached places in terms of reach and recognition.
With Hollywood film Life of Pi by acclaimed director Ang Lee opening the festival, other world films from various cultures of the world have been screened over the last nine days and will be screened over the next two days. The festival concludes on 30th November. Out of the 162 films that have been scheduled in the international segment over these 11 days, nearly 84 films are seeing its premiere in the paradise state. While about 250 films have been scheduled in the Indian segment.
