Sankaran Nair.Shri Nair was the one who fought the courtroom battle against the British Raj to uncover the truth about the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre. This episode during the pre-independence era ignited the freedom struggle across India and is considered as a testament to the power of fighting for the truth. The film will be an adaptation of the book called The Case That Shook The Empire, which is authored by C. Sankaran Nair’s great-grandson Raghu Palat along with his wife Pushpa Palat. Karan Johar took to his Instagram to make this announcement and posted that he is extremely excited and honored to bring the untold story of C. Sankaran Nair to the big screen. He added that the movie will be directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, and more details like the lead cast of the project shall be revealed soon.
