Work on Akshay Kumar’s digital debut, called “The End,” is going on in full swing. The script as well as the screenplay, as per sources, are almost finalised and the pre-production is all set to begin in March-April this year.
One of the sources says that it will be one of the biggest shows ever made in the country, which will have never seen before action. The team has invested a lot of time as far as the script is concerned, as it is a complex landscape set in a future timeline. It will be an apocalyptic thriller that will be packed with action scenes and feature Akshay racing against time to save the human race.
The makers are eyeing to make this OTT debut of Akshay the biggest of all in 2023 on Amazon Prime Video. They have already started to connect with multiple directors to come on board as the shoot date is nearing. In all likelihood, the director shall be locked up by February, and that’s when one can expect an official announcement on the shooting schedule. The series is poised to be released somewhere in mid-2023, and even the other cast is expected to come on board soon.
