With Excel Entertainment turning 20 yesterday, Farhan Akhtar announced donning the hat of a director once again with Jee Le Zaraa, which will have Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Katrina Kaif, and Alia Bhatt in the lead. The film will be on the lines of Dil Chahta Hai and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobaara. However, this time around, it will be an all-girls road trip. The announcement has indeed left everyone excited, and Priyanka has even shared the details of how all the three stars came together. Just before the world shut down, in February last year, all the three actresses met to discuss who shall fit in to bring all three of them together, and the choice was unanimous; Farhan and Ritesh, or Zoya and Reema. Since all the actresses had worked with their production houses before, and with Farhan working on an all-girls road trip movie anyways, it was decided to go ahead with this exciting project. Jee Le Zaraa will begin filming next year and release in 2023.
