Akshay Kumar, we all know, has a jam-packed schedule. It is now revealed that the actor will team up with Karan Johar for Raj Mehta’s next film, which will be the official remake of Prithiviraj’s Malayalam hit, Driving License. As per a source, both Akshay and Raj loved the film the moment they saw it and therefore decided to remake it for the Hindi audience with some changes in the screenplay. The remake is expected to go on floors from January 2020 and will have a start to finish schedule of 40 days in the UK. There is, however, a hunt going on for another actor who will play the second lead to Akshay in the film. Significantly, Akshay Kumar, with this, has three remakes lined up. The first is Sajid Nadiadwala’s Bachchan Pandey, which is based on Tamil hit Jigarthanda. Thereafter, it will be the turn of Vashu Bhagnani’s Cinderella, a psychological thriller that will be a remake of Ratsasan. Apart from this, he already has a string of movies lined up, such as Sooryavanshi, Raksha Bandhan, Atrangi Re, Ram Setu, and Oh My God 2.
