Ever since Vijay Deverakonda’s martial arts drama Liger was announced, it has created a buzz around. On Sunday, the makers of this pan-India film announced that there is something big coming up on Monday with regards to this project. And today, they indeed treated all the fans out there with a big surprise. Liger will have legendary professional boxer Mike Tyson play a cameo in it. Karan Johar, the producer of the movie, took to his social media to mention that for the first time ever, the king of the ring will be making his presence on the big screen of Indian cinema and thereafter welcomed Mike Tyson to the Liger team. As per the reports, Tyson will be seen before the climax, and his appearance will change the course of the film. The legendary boxer is expected to join the Liger team soon in Goa. Vijay, who has recently resumed the shoot of the movie is in Goa currently. The teaser of Liger was supposed to release in May but had to be pushed due to the pandemic. It is also said that Vijay will be seen in a different avatar in this movie, which has Ananya Pandey opposite him. Jointly produced by Puri’s Jagannadh’s Puri Connects and Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, the project is directed by Puri Jagannadh.
