Siddharth Pithani, who has been in the custody of the Narcotics Control Bureau, is granted relief for ten days due to his scheduled marriage. He will have to surrender back on July 02. Pithani’s lawyer, Tareq Sayyed, said that he has been granted bail on humanitarian grounds and that he will surrender back on July 02. As per the reports, he got engaged around four months back in Hyderabad. NCB picked him up in the last week of April by tracking him through his social media handle. It is said that Pithani did not respond to the summons sent to him before. While the CBI is looking into the death angle of the late actor, the NCB has been after people who were in contact with Sushant in the months before his death. NCB has found electronic evidence against Pithani where it has come to light that he is involved in the procurement and financing of drugs. Many celebrities have already been questioned in connection to the drug angle. Actress and former girlfriend of Sushant’s, Rhea Chakraborty, and also her brother have spent some time in the prison too. Rhea, in her statement to the NCB, has named Sara Ali Khan as a consumer of marijuana who did offer her some at a party.
