After the phenomenal success of Kabir Singh, Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani announced many big projects, including Bhool Bhulaiyya 2 and Animal, and now they will be recreating the Tamil hit Thadam. Aditya Roy Kapur has been brought on board to essay the lead role in the movie, which is going to be an out-and-out action thriller. The Hindi remake is yet to be titled and will have Aditya play a double role, the first time in his career. The plan is to commence the shoot of this movie in September. Excited to be working on the project, Aditya Roy Kapur said that he is inspired to be a part of such an interesting story and that since it’s going to be a double role, there will be double the preparation and double the challenge, and he is indeed up for it. Talking about the movie, producer Bhushan Kumar shared that when Murad Khetani talked about the idea of this film, he was excited as the film had received a lot of acclamation down South. He added that working with like-minded people was always fun and which is why he likes collaborating with Murad Khetani. Bhushan Kumar further said that the last film they did with Aditya was an action flick, and he was loved by everyone in the role. The yet-to-be-titled movie will be helmed by Vardhan Ketkar, who will be making his directorial debut with it.
