Neena Gupta has joined the cast of Amitabh Bachchan & Rashmika Mandanna starrer Goodbye. She will be playing Bachchan’s wife in the film. It is the first time that both Amitabh and Neena have come together, however, they have always shared a mutual admiration. Neena Gupta recently said that when director Vikas Behl narrated the movie, she thought the script was wonderful, and the fact that it had Amitabh Bachchan in it made her even more ecstatic, as it was a dream come true for her to work alongside the legend. A couple of years back, for Neena’s work in Badhaai Ho, Amitabh had shared a handwritten note with her appreciating her performance in the movie. Goodbye will be co-produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Films and Reliance Entertainment. Neena Gupta has already worked with Ekta in the commercially successful film Veere Di Wedding before, and Goodbye will be the duo’s second outing together.
