The Intern, a remake of Hollywood’s critically acclaimed movie by the same name, has been officially announced. The film was announced a year ago and had Deepika & Rishi Kapoor playing the key roles. But due to the unfortunate demise of the legendary actor, the movie had to be put on hold. Recently, the speculations were doing the rounds of Amitabh Bachchan taking up the role of Rishi Kapoor, but nothing concrete had been announced. But now, Deepika Padukone, who also happens to be the co-producer of The Intern, has made it official with a poster of the movie. In a post welcoming Amitabh Bachchan aboard, she wrote that it is an absolute honour to be collaborating with one of her most special co-stars yet again. The first poster looks incredibly attractive and features silhouettes of the two actors. The Intern, helmed by Ravindernath Sharma, will go on floors soon and is expected to release in Summers next year.
