It doesn’t seem that Disney and Scarlett Johansson are going to find a solution to their feud anytime soon. The actress has already sued the studio, and the studio has found the lawsuit meritless. Earlier, the actress had accused Disney of breaching the contract of an exclusive theatrical release of Black Widow as they showcased it on their platform as well. The actress is claiming to have incurred high losses due to the same. The studio, on the other hand, is calling all of it a PR stunt. Disney’s lawyer, in a recently released statement has said that the written contract between the actress and Disney is as clear as a bell and that they are treating Disney’s premium access revenue like box office itself. He adds that this will only elevate Ms. Johansson’s payout.
