Four, Odiya Psychological crime thriller, which stars Partha Sarathi Ray, Kalke Krushna, Prasanjit Mohapatra, and Satyaranjan, will release on December 21, on Odisha’s first-ever audiovisual streaming platform called AAO NXT.
Helmed by Abhishek Swain, four is an anthology, a thriller collection of four short films. Although the makers have remained tight-lipped over the content of the movie, Four is expected to be a first-of-its-kind thriller from Odisha that looks very promising indeed. As per Abhishek, he cannot reveal anything more about the characters of the movie, but all he can say is that they are interesting.
The film has been entirely shot in Odisha’s capital Bhubaneswar and what makes it extremely interesting is its association with new faces in acting, scriptwriting and filmmaking. Notably, Abhishek Swain has already done some extraordinary work in the past. His silent short film Life Drop has been the recipient of several accolades, including the Best Film Award at the Human Rights Short Film Festival organised by Dhaka University of Film Society in association with the United Nations of Bangladesh. The film bagged the coveted honour by finishing first amongst 738 films from 82 countries, a rare feat indeed.
