Shershaah, which was released last week on Amazon Prime Video has received a lot of praises from audiences and critics alike. Based on the life of Param Vir Chakra awardee Captain Vikram Batra, Shershaah talks about the 1999 Kargil war and the valor with which our soldiers fought in it. Actors Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani, and even Nikitin Dheer have been appreciated for their performance in the film. However, Sahil Vaid, who plays Sunny, Captain Batra’s friend, regrets being a part of it. In an interview with a leading entertainment channel, the actor said that he owes Dharma Productions a lot for giving him roles in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya and Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya, and therefore, Shershaah was his way of saying thank you to them.
