Salman Khan To Play Spy Ravindra Kaushik In A Film Produced By Alvira & Atul Agnihotri

Salman Khan, off late, has been busy promoting his film Antim: The Final Truth. He is busy traveling across the country post the release of the movie. Directed by Mahesh Manjrekar and co-starring Aayush Sharma, Antim marks the superstar’s first theatrical release after the pandemic struck almost 20 months back.

Besides this, Salman also has Tiger 3 currently in the making, where he plays an Indian agent. It has now been confirmed that he will be playing the role of a real-life Indian spy, Ravindra Kaushik. The film will be co-produced by Salman’s sister Alvira Agnihotri and her husband, Atul. It was speculated earlier this year that the actor would be playing Ravindra Kaushik to bring his story on screen, and finally, it has come as a confirmation from Salman Khan himself.

Interestingly, this is the first time in a three-decade-long career that the superstar will be seen essaying a real-life character in his movie. The film will be set in the 70s-80s era. For those who do not know, Kaushik is considered as India’s best spy ever who penetrated the ranks of the Pakistan army. Kaushik had a knack for doing theatre which led RAW to utilize his talents for the country.

Thereafter he was sent to Pakistan, where he pursued LLB, completed it, and joined the army there. Between 1979 and 1983, he is said to have passed critical information to the Indian defense.
