Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who share a love-hate relationship, are set to reunite after two decades. Well, this is what was predicted before too, when they both were about to come together for Inshallah, but the project was shelved just days before the shooting began.
But now, according to a report, the duo will come together for the docu-series, Beyond The Star, which will capture the three-decade journey of Salman from his entry into Bollywood to his superstardom. The series will give an insight into the actor’s family life, personal relationships, equation with his co-stars, and more.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali has been an integral part of Salman Khan’s journey, and therefore he is bound to be a part of the docu-series. The makers have zeroed in on the list and have begun approaching actors, directors, and producers, and some have even been called up by Salman Khan himself. When Sanjay was approached for the series, he immediately gave a nod for his part. Reports suggest that the ace filmmaker has already shot his portion of the docu series where he has spoken about his personal stories of Salman and his affection for him. The series is jointly produced by Salman Khan Films, Wiz Films, and Applause Entertainment and is made for an OTT giant.
