Luv Films has announced the biopic on the cricketer who changed the shape of Indian cricket forever, the prince of Calcutta as he is fondly called, Sourav Ganguly. Popularly known as Dada, he without a shred of doubt, is one of the most successful and controversial cricketers of his times. The former Indian cricket captain currently holds the post of President, BCCI. His cricketing life has been a mix of records, his attitude on the field, his admiration for his counterparts, and of course love for the game, all of which will be bundled up and put together on the big screen soon. The production house has already worked on films like Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, De De Pyaar De, Malang, Chhalaang, and has Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor’s Kuttey and a silent film Uff lined up. A stalwart that Sourav Ganguly has been, he truly deserves a biopic, and we hope that this film will justify the magnificent phenomenon that he has been for decades.
