The Kapil Sharma Show, which was expected to begin again from May, has now been rescheduled for June. The show, which is one of the most popular on the television circuit, has been off-air for a few months now. It was said that Kapil, who was expecting his second child, wanted to spend as much time with his family as possible, and hence it was decided to put temporary curtains on the show. However, it looks like the makers decided to take a break as they were not able to get celebrity guests on board because of the lack of film releases due to lockdowns and restrictions. Now, as the pandemic is wreaking havoc in the country, film and television shoots have come to a halt, resulting in the show getting delayed to June. And in all likelihood, with the current state of the situation which we are in, things might not turn normal immediately, and The Kapil Sharma Show might even get delayed further beyond June. Interestingly, Indian Idol season 12, which has been on-air for six months and was supposed to end in April, has been given a further extension. The reality singing show has been going strong with nine contestants without any eliminations.
