Veteran Actress Surekha Sikri is no more. She passed away early morning today at the age of 75 due to cardiac arrest. The actress was known for her stellar performances on both Television & Big screen. She was ailing for some time and had suffered a brain stroke in 2020 and before that a paralytic stroke in 2018. She was surrounded by her close relatives during her final moments. The actress made her debut with the 1978 film Kissa Kursi Ka and received National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress thrice in her career for her performance in Tamas, Mammo, and Badhaai Ho. She was an NSD 1971 graduate and also won Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in 1989. She was married to Hemant Rege, and they have a son together, Rahul Sikri.
