As per a source, after her role and performance in Gangubai Kathiawadi, an ecstatic Alia Bhatt has told Sanjay Leela Bhansali to give her any role in Heera Mandi and she will do it for free. Bhansali has, however, refused Alia’s offer but will surely take her in some role and will pay her the market price. The source adds that Netflix is the producer of Heera Mandi, and everybody is being paid the price they deserve. There are seven episodes in Heera Mandi, out of which Sanjay Leela Bhansali will helm the first one, and the rest of the six will be taken care of by Vibhu Puri, under the ace filmmaker’s supervision. Vibhu has already worked with Sanjay as an assistant in Saawariya and has also written Guzaarish.
