So another actress finds footing in Bollywood’s western counterpart Hollywood. Actress Deepika Padukone has been finalized for a major role in the latest installment of The Fast And The Furious.
Two other actresses Chitrangda Singh and Kangna Ranaut were also in the fray for the role which ultimately went to Deepika. She will feature along side Hollywood biggies like Vin Diesel, Jason Statham, Tony Jaa and Dwayne (The Rock) Johnson. In all probability, action star Kurt Russell too will be joining the cast for the 7th installment of the successful franchisee.
The film is being directed by James Wan of The Conjuring fame.
With two back to back hits with Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Chennai Express, a role in The Fast And The Furious 7 will be another feather in the illustrious career of the actress. The film will go on floor sometime soon.
