Ranbir and Shahid – the two Kapoors in the sequel of Andaz Apna Apna.
Sequels have been the norm lately and director Rajkumar Santoshi joins the bandwagon with Andaz Apna Apna sequel. Buzz is that the ace director is keen to cast Ranbir Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor in the sequel of the iconic film that had Aamir Khan and Salman Khan in the lead in the first film.
Despite the first Andaz Apna Apna not getting good reviews and a poor opening at the box office, the film gradually picked up pace through word of mouth and big a marginal hit. But over the years, the rib tickling comedy developed a diehard fan following pushing the film in the cult frame.
This was one of those rare films that had the two Khans pitted together.
Andaz Apna Apna released way back in 1994 and though the director has been trying to rope in the two Khans for the sequel, their busy schedule has been playing the spoilsport. So for now, it’s Ranbir Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor.
If not the Khans, Kapoors should do the trick!
