Madhuri Dixit who took a step into Marathi Cinema with ‘Bucket List’, her kind of comeback film that released last May has taken her relation with Marathi Cinema a step further by turning producer with ‘15th August’.
Not surprisingly, the film which was launched in March this year finished off its last day of shoot this 15th August and is now in the post production stage.
Produced under her banner RnM, she announced on one of her social media accounts, “Proud to announce that my first Marathi production, #15thAugust is complete! Can’t wait for y’all to see it. Coming soon… #15thAugustFilm #RNMMovingpictures.”
Having spent nearly three decades in front of the camera, this is her first among more to come that will have her behind the camera for a change.
The film written by Yogesh Vinayak Joshi has been directed by Swapneel Jayakar and stars Mrunmayee Deshpande and Adinath Kotharee in the main lead.
