In 2018, more than a couple of women came out in the open to share their #MeToo experience against Sajid Khan, due to which the actor was forced to step down from his position of director of Housefull 4, which was later released in 2019.
But now, it seems the filmmaker is all set to return to direct a comedy with John Abraham and Riteish Deshmukh in the lead. It is said that Sajid Khan and producer Amar Butala have been looking to make a comedy film for some time now. And with this news coming in, it looks like they have finalized one. Apart from freezing the project, the dates and shoot locations of the film are finalized as well.
John Abraham and Ritiesh Deshmukh will be off to London for the shoot beginning March 2022. Sajid has been off the limelight and work since multiple women named him for sexual misconduct. In response to the allegations levelled against him, he had tweeted back then saying that in the wake of allegations and the pressure put by his family, producer, and actors, he would no longer be the director of Housefull 4. Last year, he faced similar allegations as a model named Dimple Paul charged him with sexual misconduct again.
