Tahira Kashyap Khurrana has announced her debut film, Sharmaji Ki Beti. The film is all about the lives of urban women with the same surname. In a statement released by Applause Entertainment, the producers of the film, Sharmaji Ki Beti is all about a real peek into the lives of urban women with the common surname- Sharma. Directed by debutant director Tahira Kashyap Khurrana, Sharmaji Ki Beti is a multi-generational comedy-drama on modern, middle-class women with talented stars like Sakshi Tanwar, Divya Dutta, and Saiyami Kher. Tahira took to her Instagram and wrote that she couldn’t believe the film is finally happening and that she was eternally grateful to the people who have brought her dream to life. She added that the film saw her go through various states and stages of life, but what she has learned from her practice, her mother, and her partner is to never give up. Ayushmann also took to his Instagram to support his wife’s first directorial project.
