Ajay Devgn starrer Bhuj will release in Independence Day week on Disney+Hotstar. The film is based on true events and also has Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, and Nora Fatehi in it. While Sonakshi Sinha is the main female lead, the filmmakers needed another star and had locked Parineeti Chopra for it. But she opted out as her role was smaller compared to Sonakshi, and for obvious reasons, she did not want to settle in for less. The makers then approached Kriti Sanon and Jacqueline Fernandez for the role, but they did not agree to play second fiddle to Sonakshi, and that’s when Nora Fatehi was taken in. Nora’s role in the film is that of an Indian army spy who plays a dancer in Pakistan. She is a RAW agent working in the neighboring country, and her role is somewhat similar to Alia Bhatt’s in Raazi. Nora’s character in the movie is non-fictional, however, the details of the actual person remain unknown. Given that comparison is bound to happen, the makers are keeping away from revealing much about Nora’s character in the movie.
