In 2020, it was reported that filmmaker Rian Johnson was planning to come up with a sequel to his 2019 hit mystery film, Knives Out. But it turns out that not one but two sequels are in the pipeline, and the acquisition deal with the OTT giant Netflix will be in the tune of $400 million, which makes it one of the biggest streamer movie deals in history. As per the reports, Daniel Craig shall return in the sequels as Benoit Blanc. Rian Johnson has already penned the sequels and will also produce them along with Ram Bergman. The film released in 2019 went on to get nominated for three Golden Globes and one Oscar.
