Director R. Balki has announced his new film which will be a thriller starring Sunny Deol, Pooja Bhatt, Dulquer Salmaan, Shreya Dhanwanthary. Balki, in a statement, said that he is excited to be back after months of waiting. And to make a film out of his genre is even more exciting for him. He added that he had this idea for a long time but never quite got to writing on it. According to him, while the movie is a thriller, it banks upon these four stunning performers, and that he cannot wait to get to the editing room. On getting both Sunny Deol and Pooja Bhatt on board, Balki said that he is ecstatic to be working with the Ghayal star as his booming screen presence conveys a lot. Pooja, on the other hand, he says, is one of the most versatile actresses that Indian cinema has. As for Dulquer, Balki is of an opinion that he is a charmer, and although he cannot disclose much about his role in the movie, he is looking out for a distinct and cool interpretation. Shreya’s performance in Scam 1992 has already impressed the ace director to the extent that he has taken her in the lead role in this film. This untitled thriller will release in 2022.
