Things started getting murkier when a drug angle was established during Sushant Singh Rajput’s death investigation. Now, as per the 12000-page NCB’s chargesheet filed in the late actor’s case, Rhea Chakraborty has been accused of harbouring drugs as well as allowing Sushant to consume them at her place. She had been permitting the supply of drugs from November 2019 and because of her brother Showik Chakraborty, managed to procure a number of them. This offence comes under Section 27A of the NDPS Act and attracts a minimum term of 10 years of imprisonment and a maximum of 20. As per the chargesheet, Rhea is accused of possessing drugs like bud, marijuana and ganja.
