Sonu Sood Offers His Juhu Hotel For Healthcare Workers To Stay during lockdown
In a great gesture Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has opened the doors of his hotel in Juhu, Mumbai, for healthcare workers. It is meant to help healthcare workers who are being harassed and assaulted in some cases to have a save haven where they can return in peace and feel welcome. It would also reduce their travel time and the attending risks of getting their family infected.
Recently, news emerged that medical professionals like nurses and doctors were facing resistance from their neighbors when they returned to their homes. Neighbors feared that they are carriers of the coronavirus and were trying to keep them out of the building.
The hotel Shakti Sagar in Juhu can be used by them to rest, sleep or take a break when they desire. The industry has hailed the gesture.
