To all those who still cannot fathom why Abhishek Bachchan isn’t a part of Bunty Aur Babli 2, here’s a very good reason behind it hearing which one might second the actor’s decision of not considering the film.
Not so long back, when Dhoom 3 was made, Abhishek had a fallout with Aditya Chopra due to professional issues. As per a source, the script of the film was changing constantly in Aamir Khan’s favour. Abhishek could sense it and even tried to voice out his opinion to both Chopra and the director of the movie, Vijay Krishna Acharya, but it did not work.
Not just that, the entire climax of the film was changed without Abhishek’s knowledge, and that’s when the actor put his foot down and decided not to work in the Dhoom franchise again. Abhishek’s displeasure on the changes did not go down well with Aditya Chopra, and since then, there has been a Cold War between the two. Although Bunty Aur Babli 2 was offered to Abhishek, he refused it.
Interestingly, Abhishek Bachchan and Rani Mukherji, his co-star in Bunty Aur Babli and now Aditya Chopra’s wife haven’t been on talking terms ever since the movie was released in 2005.
