Agisilaos Demetriades, who is Arjun Rampal’s partner Gabriella Demetriades’ brother, has been arrested by the NCB in connection with a drug-related case in Goa. Once the news about his arrest spread like wildfire, Arjun Rampal’s name was used by many publications in connection with the case. With all these developments taking place in no time, Arjun Rampal issued an official statement that clarified that he is nowhere related to the case and urged people not to drag his name in it. The statement read that he was shocked and taken aback by the way his name has been used in the case as he has no association with it whatsoever. Adding further, Arjun said that he and his immediate family are law-abiding citizens, and while the incident involves a person related to his partner, he has no other connection other than that with him. He also said that he has complete trust in the system in these matters, and as the law takes its course, he would appreciate that neither his name nor his partners should be attached to it. Adding further, Rampal said that those on the wrong side of the law should be treated as the judiciary deems fit.
