Renowned Hindi and Marathi actor-filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar has been operated on for urinary bladder cancer. He was diagnosed with it a few days back, and the doctors suggested surgery regarding the same. Manjrekar was admitted around ten days ago at a hospital in Charni Road, where he was operated upon. The operation went well, and he is recovering at his residence. The talented filmmaker is currently directing Antim- The Final Truth that has Salman Khan and Ayush Sharma in it. Mahesh will be directing the story of freedom fighter Vinayak Damodar Sawarkar also popularly known as Veer Sawarkar, in a project titled Swatantra Veer Savarkar. Although nothing much has been unfolded on this project yet, it looks to be promising, and we wish Manjrekar to be back soon to work on it.
