The nation celebrated Army Day on January 15, and the occasion was indeed apt for actor Vivek Oberoi to release the teaser of his upcoming short film Verses of War to pay tribute to soldiers who dedicated their lives to the nation.
On his social media handle, Oberoi released the teaser and mentioned that the short film will be showcased on January 26, the Republic Day of India. The actor will play the role of an Indian soldier in the movie, while the Pakistani army officer’s role will be essayed by Rohit Roy. Interestingly, both Vivek and Rohit will be seen together for the first time in 15 years. The last film they did together was Shootout At Lokhandwala.
The teaser shows Vivek leading a team of soldiers and forging ahead. The film will be released on the YouTube channel of FNP Media and has been helmed by Prasad Kadam. In the movie, Vivek says, we shouldn’t forget the countless heroes who have gone on to sacrifice their lives for one breath of people’s peace.
