OTT giant Netflix has revealed the release date of its one of the most loved series Money Heist. As per the announcement made, the final season of the most popular heist in history will be divided into two installments of 5 episodes each. The first volume will release on September 3, whereas the final volume will hit the OTT space on December 3 this year and will mark the end of a very successful series loved globally. Alex Pina, the creator of The Money Heist said that when they began to write season 5 during the pandemic, they decided to change and tweak what they felt was suited for the ten-episode season. Moreover, they have used every tool they could to create the sensation in the first volume of the series finale itself. The Spanish television producer, writer, and director further added that the second volume, on the other hand, will focus more on the emotional situation of the characters and will be a journey across their sentimental map that will connect directly to their departure.
